In 2008, Evolving Media was commissioned to create the 3rd Edition of the Orders, Decorations and Medals for the Directorate of History and Recognition.
The book consisted of 108 pages with self cover. We go into great length describing the type of work we did. The last part of the project, was to design the book, book cover, and label for the accompanying CD-ROM or DVD. This is one project that we are very proud of. We became a part of documenting Canadian history.
In 2004, EvolvingMedia was commissioned to design a new wrap-a-round book cover. The Laboratory Biosafety Guidelines, 3rd Edition, published by Health Canada in English and French.

In 2003, Rob Krten, a distinguished Ottawa area Author of The QNX Cookbook series, commissioned Evolving Media. The project was to design a new wrap-a-round book cover and CD-ROM Label for his new book;
The QNX Cookbook, Recipes for Programmers
After many cups of coffee discussing the artwork for the front cover at Tim Horton's, a 3D illustration immerged, representing what happens when a text file is opened in the QNX Operating system.
This project was a lot of fun.

In early 1998, Evolving Media was commissioned to design and layout a book on Canola for Agriculture Canada. Three versions of the book were designed; one in English, one in French, and one version in Farcy.
Of special note, the client didn't want to spend money on buying the Arabic typeface for the version in Farcy. The solution was to send the draft to the Arabic Embacy in Ottawa to print on a BW laser printer. The resulting pages were then scanned and formatted twice so the book could be sent to press.
In 2011, Evolving Media was commissioned to design a full colour bilingual catalogue for a manufacterer of Adult Restraining gear in Eastern Ontario.
The project involved taking photographs of one of the models showcasing various gear. Editing the provided text, laying out the catalogue, and designing the packaging for each of the items within the catalogue.
This was a large undertaking. You can download one of the catalogues here. The company is no longer in business and the prices listed are no longer valid. However, the PDF file (28.3MB file) will showcase what Evolving Media can do, tastefully.
